Top Golf-Cart Friendly Neighborhoods in West Maui

Heidi Dollinger  |  May 16, 2026

Choosing the right home on Maui is not just about the house, it’s about the lifestyle.  If cruising around car-free with the wind in your hair and a beach chair and cooler in your back seat is the lifestyle you are looking for – check out these West Maui Golf-Cart Friendly neighborhoods.

The Vintage

Located on Kaanapali’s Hillside, the Vintage is a community made up of 70 free-standing condominium homes with 2-car garages.  As part of the Kaanapali Golf Estates Association, Vintage owners can drive on the golf cart path bridge over the highway and it’s just a short ride to watch the sunset at Kaanapali Beach or dine at Kaanapali’s ocean side restaurants at Whaler’s Village.

The Masters

This picturesque condominium community known for its big ocean views. Golf cart charging is available to owners for a nominal fee.

Kaanapali Golf Estates

This prestigious community made of several distinct single-family home neighborhoods including the Summit, The Pinnacle, and Lanikeha is just a golf cart ride away from the heart of shopping and oceanfront dining in Kaanapali.

International Colony Club

International Colony Club is a community of 44 free-standing cottages with vintage old Hawaii charm. Each cottage has its own concrete pad with a designated golf cart parking space.  A short drive down the hill and across the main road, and you are at Kahekili Beach (also known as Airport Beach)

Maui Eldorado

This could be my favorite condo amenity on Maui– Call the front desk and ask for a golf cart ride to Maui Eldorado’s private Beach Cabana. You don’t even need your own golf cart!

Kaanapali Hillside

Whether you are golfing, headed to the beach for sunset, or cruising the local neighborhood, this single-family home community in West Maui is perfect for golf cart enjoyment.
