Following the wildfires, comprehensive debris removal allowed property owners to begin applying for permits, helping spark a sense of momentum throughout the area.

Across Lahaina, more than 100 structures have already been rebuilt and hundreds of homes are in progress, underscoring steady recovery and renewed housing opportunities. Wahikuli’s combination of neighborhood feel, improving infrastructure, and rebuilding activity makes it an important part of West Maui’s housing future.
