Presented by Pacific Island Partners and David Sellers Hawaii Off Grid Architecture

An Invitation to Explore What’s Next

As Maui enters a new phase of rebuilding and renewal, homeowners are beginning to rethink not just what their homes look like—but how they function, adapt, and endure.

We invite you to join us for a private evening with David Sellers, one of Hawaii’s leading voices in sustainable and resilient design.

Meet the Speaker

David Sellers, AIA

Co-founder of Hawaii Off Grid (HIOG), Maui’s largest architecture and engineering firm specializing in off-grid water, wastewater, and energy systems.

Since 2015, HIOG has led the way in sustainable design, becoming the first firm in Hawaii to require all new builds to achieve net-zero performance.

David’s background combines hands-on engineering experience with global architectural training, including work with The Nature Conservancy in Hawaii. He has played a key role in Maui’s wildfire recovery efforts, served as President of AIA Maui (2024), and currently leads the design of Ohana Hope Village for displaced Lahaina residents.

He is also advancing the use of mass timber construction across the islands and is a declared candidate for AIA National President (2028).
